The Brief Therapy Centre
The Brief Therapy Centre is a small, human-scale practice based around the work of one highly experienced therapist plus visiting associates. We offer individual, couple and family counselling and psychotherapy as well as hypnotherapy plus short courses for professionals and the general public.
- We aim to give a friendly, humane and professional service
- We avoid unnecessary jargon and psychobabble
- We work with a very wide range of psychological, emotional and wellbeing challenges (see Concerns we address.
- Clients are not committed to more than one session at a time.
- Clients may choose to keep in touch and come back for booster sessions after a course of sessions when they feel this is necessary.
- Our short courses are practical, scientifically informed – and fun too!
Our Location
The centre is in the basement of a large family townhouse in Tonbridge, Kent.
There is on street parking on London Road (B245 towards Sevenoaks), Old London Road aDry Hill Road nearby. We are in easy walking distance of the town centre and 10 to fifteen minutes walk from the railway station. Taxis are available at the station. Bus routes 204 and 402, 222 and 223 all have stops nearby.
There is a comfortable therapy room/office and a larger room for meetings, group sessions and courses. All spaces remain in dual use and reception and administration is usually dealt with by the therapist.
